Michael Steen It's not merely ignorance that's the problem. That can be fixed with curiosity, books, and conversation. It's determined, willful, prideful ignorance that's going to kill us. It's the ignorant who actively hate and mistrust those who have knowledge--as if being informed makes you a shifty and suspicious member of the "elite." I weep for us.
