You know that feeling, when you think you've managed to actually chalk one up in the "win" column - not a big one, really, just a small little "yay, that didn't totally suck," maybe not even so much of a "win" as a "not a loss," - and then the universe, waiting until you've just started to exhale and your blood pressure is just out of the stroke imminent range and the feral weasel that lives in the panic center of your brain has juuuuust stopped running around in frantic circles gnawing at anything it can reach, yells, "FOOLED YOU!!" and kicks you in the gut?
I hate that feeling.
